We have an opportunity for an experienced R&D Technologist to contribute to the development of new products and the maintenance of existing products in terms of functionality, formulation, quality, regulatory compliance, and cost. 

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborating closely with the broader (cross functional) R&D team which includes sales, marketing, regulatory, finance, operations and quality
• Delivering product and ingredient education to internal teams and external partners, including training for sales channels, with support from nutritional, naturopathic, and technical experts
• Researching, collaborating and coordinating the formulation and development of innovative new products
• Using ‘big data” from our e-commerce business and analyzing market and competitor data to look for opportunities and generate ideas for new product development 
• Providing technical and ingredient information to deliver innovative product concepts, unique product positioning, and technical innovation
• Working collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to determine product upgrades required to meet changing consumer needs, which we call “continuous improvement”
• Building strong supplier relationships to build competitive advantage
• Support the delivery of multiple projects on time, to quality and to budget, including timeline management, technology support and other key tasks.
• To carry out new product development projects as required, including Preparation of formulations/samples/ product specifications /analysis, to research related scientific principles.
• Manage the product matrix, supporting the R&D teams for other channel markets.
