Australian Ambassador to China Scott visited Chengdu in April, marking his first visit to southwestern China since taking office
The Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu hosted a reception on the evening of 11 April to welcome Ambassador Scott's visit to Sichuan. Important guests in attendance included Australian Consul-General in Chengdu Ni Ruilan and Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office Liu Min.
In his speech, Ambassador Scott mentioned that this was his first visit to Chengdu and that he was very pleased to experience the vitality of the city. He hoped that his visit and exchanges would deepen the ties between Australia and southwestern China. Nearly 200 guests, including government officials, business leaders, consular officials from various countries, and Australian alumni, attended the reception. Everyone gathered together to witness this important moment.
H&S Global was invited to attend the reception. Chairman Simon, as an important representative of Australian enterprises in China, participated in the key enterprise exchange meeting and had a face-to-face discussion with Scott about the issues encountered by H&S Global in its development in China. He expressed gratitude for the federal government's continued strong support for the enterprise and outlined the group's future development plans.
