As a nutrition brand that has always focused on pregnancy and infant health, Brauer helped the well-known maternity hospital Jinxin Maternity Hospital launch a public welfare lecture series called ‘I Have a Date with My Baby’ from December 2020 to February 2021. The series aimed to promote scientific nutrition knowledge among expectant and new mothers to help them have healthy pregnancies.

Focusing on the Critical 1,000 Days of Early Life: Targeted Nutritional Donations

According to research by the World Health Organisation, the first 1,000 days of life (from pregnancy to the child's second birthday) are a critical window for physical and intellectual development. This donation specifically addresses the nutritional needs of this stage:

Pregnant women: Brauer's prenatal DHA capsules promote fetal brain and visual development and help alleviate pregnancy fatigue in expectant mothers;

Infants and toddlers: BRAUER's calcium, magnesium, and zinc supplements use patented organic microcapsule calcium for better absorption, supporting bone growth and immune system development in young children.

Over the course of this three-month, a team of professional lecturers comprising obstetricians and gynaecologists and nutrition experts from Jinxin Hospital delivered in-depth yet accessible science popularisation sessions through multiple online and offline lectures, covering core topics such as prenatal nutrition intake, fetal development support, and trace element supplementation, benefiting hundreds of expectant mothers in attendance.

To help expectant mothers apply the knowledge gained in their daily lives, Brauer also provided samples of its premium Pregnancy DNA Capsules for participants to experience after the lectures. This product contains DHA and other nutrients crucial for fetal brain and vision development, receiving widespread acclaim.

Surveys indicate that over 60% of new parents have misconceptions about ‘when to supplement calcium’ and ‘how to determine trace element deficiencies.’ During the event, parenting experts and doctors from Jinxin Hospital provided scientific guidance on these issues through multiple online training sessions. Brauer also provided children's calcium, magnesium, and zinc oral solutions to new mothers participating in the training. Many mothers expressed after the training: We have learned to recognise warning signs such as night sweats and bald patches on the back of the head, so we will no longer blindly supplement calcium."

This public welfare campaign not only conveyed Brauer's brand concept of ‘derived from nature, refined in nutrition’, but also reflected our responsibility in the field of pregnancy and infant health. ‘We not only provide products, but also hope to establish a sustainable health education closed loop.’ In the future, Brauer will continue to work with professional institutions to promote scientific nutrition education, so that more families can benefit from science and care.
